MechTronic further strengthens its support team with Scottish appointment

A provider of metering and gauging systems for the road tanker market, MechTronic is committed to its customers throughout the UK.  A recent appointment boosts the company’s team of engineers in the field to its biggest to date.

MechTronic appointment boosts field engineer team to largest ever.

MechTronic’s OptiMate metering solution has proved hugely successful, with soaring sales taking the number of units now operating on the road to over 600. As a result, MechTronic has further invested in its service team bringing the number of engineers in the field to nine.

The team works from geographical locations across the UK and, following this investment, MechTronic will now have two engineers based in Scotland.

Lyndon Maltby has been with the company for four years and is based in Glasgow and Iain MacKenzie joined at the end of February and will operate out of Inverness.

Having served his apprenticeship with DAF before moving onto ETV Inverness, Iain is a highly motivated and self-driven engineer, with the eagerness to jump onboard and assist MechTronic in providing a brilliant service to its customers.

Currently undergoing training at the Leeds head office, Iain will be on the road shortly!
