The company, owners of the Portland Pricing wholesale pricing service, says the platform has been developed in response to distributor feedback around usability and access to real-time pricing information in real-world environments.
According to myAutomate, the system is designed to provide both field-based sales representatives and office-based commercial teams with access to the same live wholesale price data via mobile devices and desktop screens.
The platform aims to address common operational challenges for distributors, such as ensuring consistency between office pricing teams and sales representatives working remotely and improving response times to customer pricing enquiries.
Control and agility
By synchronising pricing intelligence across mobile and desktop environments, the platform enables distributors to maintain tighter control over margins while giving sales teams the agility they need.
Andrew Watson, Managing Director of myAutomate, said the system had been developed following requests from distributors seeking improved accessibility and simplified pricing workflows.
“Our goal was to respond to practical challenges around accessing live wholesale pricing data, particularly for sales teams working in the field,” he said.
By putting usability and cost-efficiency at the centre of the design, we’re helping distributors respond faster to customers, protect margins, and ultimately sell more competitively in a rapidly changing wholesale market.”
The platform is available for trial by distributors.
