This exciting development marks a bold new chapter for the Group, reflecting its transformation into a unified, future-focused energy provider. With more than 75 years of history, the rebrand is a significant step that brings together over 50 brands under a single name: MB Energy.
While this transformation is being rolled out across mainland Europe – including Germany, Hungary, and Denmark – there are no immediate changes to UK operations. Mabanaft Ltd will continue to operate under its existing name, transitioning to the new brand at a later stage.
Reliable, sustainable supply
“Our new brand marks an exciting new chapter – more than just a name or logo, it stands as a strong symbol of our commitment to a secure, future-ready energy supply,” commented Jonathan Perkins, CEO of MB Energy. “With this bold step forward, we are confidently shaping the future of our company and the markets we serve.”
The rebrand reflects the company’s focus on innovation, customer-centric solutions, and support for the global energy transition. As part of this evolution, entities such as Oiltanking Deutschland will operate under the new brand ‘enport – by MB Energy’, supporting decentralised energy supply and enhancing energy security.
MB Energy will present itself with a new logo, a fresh design, and a clear vision for the future. The new brand identity will be reflected across all communication channels.
“With the new brand, we are combining our strengths to reliably and comprehensively supply our customers with energy today and in the future,” added André Cardoso, SVP Sales & Marketing at MB Energy.
The new identity underscores the Group’s commitment to a lower-carbon energy future and a secure and sustainable supply. For distributors across the UK and Ireland, this signals continued stability and supply assurance, while aligning with the fuel industry move toward sustainability.
