Pre-registration figures increased by 50% compared to 2014 and the exhibition itself grew in size with the addition of an extra hall to the previous year’s EXPO in April 2014.
“This year’s event was our last year at Harrogate and we’re now looking forward to the 2016 show,” said Dawn Shakespeare, marketing & events manager.
“We expect the 2016 show will attract even more visitors as we’re going to the new exhibition facility in Liverpool – Liverpool Exhibition Centre – which is due to be completed in September 2015.
“The real measure of FPS EXPO’s success this year was the extraordinary high number of exhibitors who re-booked for next year’s event while still at the show! There’s already considerable pressure on available space as so many exhibitors want bigger stands and new exhibitors are waiting to come in. I think going to a new exhibition centre and a new city has created a buzz about FPS EXPO 2016.”
“We’re certainly looking forward to Liverpool in 2016,” said Pete George, managing director of Phillips 66 UK & Ireland marketing.
“FPS EXPO 2015 was very well attended and certainly a great success from our perspective. Our stand was buzzing with visitors from early until late each day. The show provides an excellent networking opportunity for us to meet face to face with existing and potential wholesale customers.”
“FPS is a key event in Mabanaft’s marketing calendar,” said marketing manager Martin Cook. “We see it as an excellent opportunity to meet with our existing clients and suppliers and to be in front of new prospects.”
At Clugston Distribution Services, David Heath commented: “We’ve attended for the last three years and have found we’ve secured business with new and existing clients on all occasions. It gives a good opportunity to meet up and talk informally to our customer base.”
