The agreement will see SOS focus on the promotion of the full range of GRW liquid tanker products which includes specialised liquid tankers for fuel, chemical and the food sectors.
In October, the SOS sales team visited GRW at its company headquarters in Worcester, Western Cape, South Africa and met with owner Gerhard van der Merwe who created the company with the mission to build world-class road tankers and trailer products. The SOS Sales team were highly impressed with the ongoing upgrades to the Worcester site helping establish GRW as one of the world’s most technologically advanced manufacturing facilities. The GRW fuel tanker range is now 90% robot welded giving superior weld quality and integrity.
Partnership launches with £8m order
Following a tour of the state-of-the-art facilities, SOS Sales Ltd has now entered into an agreement to become the representative and sole authorised distributor for GRW for the UK & Ireland. SOS Sales Ltd has placed a multi-million-pound order for an ongoing supply of fuel tankers ranging from conventional fuel bulking tankers, aviation and urban artic, making SOS Sales Ltd the largest customer to GRW in UK and Ireland.
