In recognition of its occupational health & safety and fleet safety records Phillips 66 took two gold awards at the 2016 RoSPA Occupational Health and Safety Awards, the 60th anniversary of the awards.

“We’re delighted to have our commitment to both occupational health and safety and fleet safety recognised at an industry level through the RoSPA Awards,” said Mary Wolf, managing director, UK & Ireland marketing for Phillips 66.

“Safety is one of the three core values – Safety, Honour, Commitment – of Phillips 66 and runs through our entire operation – from our refineries and transport teams to our suppliers and office staff. We’re very proud of the results we have achieved through our range of health and safety procedures, policies and initiatives. Our expectation is to be an industry leader in HSE performance with innovative programmes and an open, learning culture.”

“To win an award at the RoSPA Awards is a great achievement for our winners,” said Julia Small, RoSPA’s head of awards and events.

“It recognises their commitment to maintaining an excellent health and safety record and raises the bar for other organisations to aspire to. Gold medals, president’s awards and orders of distinction are presented to organisations sustaining the high standards of the gold level over consecutive years, so we would like to congratulate Phillips 66 for achieving these two gold awards.”
