Announcing the appointment, Managing Director Paul Wilkinson said: “Phil brings extensive experience in fuel distribution and operational leadership. Describing it as “an important appointment for NWF Fuels” Paul continued: “Phil will lead our operations and infrastructure agenda as we strengthen our foundations, improve the way we work and continue building a safer, more efficient and customer focused business.

Phil previously held the role of Head of Operations at Watson Fuels.
National Fuel Solutions Ltd
After nearly 12 years with Compass Fuel Oils, most recently as Sales Director, Matt Ryan has become Sales Director for National Fuel Solutions Ltd – a new venture launched in partnership with Nolan Oils.
Matt described leaving Compass as “certainly not an easy decision” and expressed his gratitude for the “opportunities, experiences and memories” as well as the “great relationships, fantastic people and huge amount learned along the way.
“I’d like to thank everyone at Compass Fuel Oils for being part of that journey.”
Looking to the new role, Matt commented: “With financial backing and support from Nolan Oils, I’m proud to be building a new, independent fuel supply and services business.
“Our aim is to bring together reliable fuel supply, exceptional customer service and a strong focus on building long-term relationships with our customers.
“Starting something from the ground up is a huge challenge, but it’s one I’m genuinely excited about. There’s a lot to build, plenty to learn and a huge amount of opportunity ahead.”

FAST Exocet
Tim Carlon has retired from his role as Business Development Manager for FAST Exocet with the company wishing him a “very happy and well deserved retirement”.
One of the longest-standing members of the FAST Exocet sales team, the company acknowledged the part he has played in the company’s journey, thanking him for his “hard work, commitment and knowledge” as well as “the relationships he has built with customers and colleagues.”
The Exocet family gathered for a celebratory send off for Tim – “an important part of our team and our story.”
