The framework, which runs until 17 August 2028, covers automotive and heating fuels and provides for up to approximately 300 million litres over its two-year term.
Craggs Energy will supply HVO, kerosene, red and white diesel, and Flame across England, Wales and Scotland, excluding the Highlands and Northern Ireland, using its own operations and established distribution network.
The new framework differs from previous single-supplier regional models by appointing multiple suppliers, allowing public-sector buyers to consider factors including service, reliability and wider value alongside price.
For Craggs Energy, the appointment builds on existing experience supplying organisations including schools, local authorities and NHS bodies.
Craggs Energy also sees growing relevance for HVO within the public sector, particularly for organisations looking to reduce emissions from existing vehicles, machinery, generators and storage infrastructure without significant equipment changes.
Simplified and reliable
Lisa Bennett, CEO at Craggs Energy, said: “Organisations in the public sector are being asked to do three things at once – keep sites running without interruption, take carbon out of their operations, and demonstrate value and social value on every pound they spend. Fuel supply touches all three.
“As a verified supplier under the 301_26 Liquid Fuels framework, public sector customers can use us compliantly and quickly. But what we pride ourselves on most is our outstanding service levels and track record of delivering when it matters most, responding quickly, competitively and effectively when our clients need us.”
Craggs Energy has been supplying homes, farms, businesses and public-sector organisations since 2011, and operates from depots across the North West and Yorkshire.
The company supplies conventional liquid fuels alongside HVO and is both a Zemo-approved partner and a member of the Renewable Fuels Assurance Scheme.
