With the closing date for nominations starting on 15 March 2025 for the Driver of the Year Award and finishing on 30 March 2025 for two of the awards, there’s still time for businesses of all sizes to submit their entries and gain valuable recognition within the industry.
This year’s awards will take place on 14th May 2025 at the First Direct Arena in Leeds, featuring presentations throughout the day and evening. This new dynamic element promises to enhance the experience for all attendees.

Award Categories and Deadlines:
Deadline: 15 March 2025 – Driver of the Year
Nominate an outstanding liquid fuels delivery driver for the OAMPS Driver of the Year Award, recognising those who excel in delivery standards and demonstrate exemplary service.
Deadline: 20 March 2025 – Innovation and Green Awards
The Innovation Award and Green Award are open to UKIFDA member and non-member companies. The Fuel Oil News Innovation Award celebrates businesses leading change with innovative ideas and technologies. The Oilshield Green Award recognises efforts toward a decarbonised future, showcasing commitments to reducing carbon emissions and promoting sustainable practices.
Deadline: 30 March 2025 – Young Person of the Year and Customer Service Awards
The Just Tankers Young Person of the Year Award highlights emerging talent in the industry, while the Worldpay Customer Service Award applauds outstanding individuals excelling in customer service.
Pen Underwriting Depot of the Year Award
UKIFDA’s Technical Manager will select the winner of this award after reviewing and inspecting the membership’s depots.
