Successful Phillips 66 customer conference attracts record feedback scores

Phillips 66 Limited has announced the customer feedback results from its biennial conference ‘Accelerate: Driving Growth Together’, this year hosted in Malta.

Held at the Westin Dragonara in St Julian’s from 29 September–1 October, the event brought together 220 delegates from the retail, wholesale, LPG and marine sectors for a programme of business insight, networking and local activities.

Feedback suggests the event hit all the right notes with attendees, earning an overall experience rating of 4.9 out of 5, surpassing the previous record of 4.8 set at the 2024 Dubrovnik conference.

Against a backdrop of disruption and volatility across the sector, the programme brought together Phillips 66 speakers from the UK and the US to explore global geopolitical issues and market conditions, as well to share the company’s UK integrated strategy and future ambitions. The business sessions concluded with a panel discussion, before customers and colleagues continued the conversation under Malta’s warm skies.

A first for Phillips 66, the 300-drone light show was a standout moment, scoring 4.98 out of 5. A gala dinner, live music and excursions – including a wine estate visit, Valletta walking tour, limoncello workshop and vintage-car tour – rounded out the experience.

Commenting on the event, Mark Clouter, Executive General Manager of WP Group, said: “Phillips 66 does a great job of looking after its customers and leaves no stone unturned. It really does feel like a thank you for doing business, but it also adds value through the content and, more importantly, the ability to connect.

“The access to senior leaders within Phillips 66 is a real differentiator and adds a lot of value.”

Rupert Turner, Managing Director, UK Marketing, Phillips 66 Limited said: “Bringing our customers together is about more than sharing business updates. It is an opportunity to listen, strengthen relationships and look ahead together.

“We were delighted that this year’s conference achieved our highest overall score yet, but the real value of the event was the opportunity for open dialogue in a relaxed setting in what has been a challenging year for the industry.”
