Holly’s run for home – a charity close to Callow Oils’ heart

Holly Needham, granddaughter of Jim Callow, founder of Stourport-based Callow Oils, has decided to celebrate her 21st birthday by giving back to Parkinson’s UK, a charity which is very close to the heart of the family.

Jim was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease in 2012 and Parkinson’s UK has been extremely helpful to him and his family over the years.
Holly turns 21 on Christmas day and, with her 21st birthday plans cancelled due to COVID-19, Holly will be driven 26.2 miles away from home on December 20th and will then run back home to raise money for the charity. Not only this, but Jim will join his granddaughter for the last 100 metres of her marathon-long run.
Helen Needham, Holly’s mother and Jim’s daughter, said:
“As you can appreciate this is going to be a huge challenge for both of them but should ensure that the birthday is one to remember!”
