Kerax launched its own brand lubricant Kerax HyperDrive at Automechanika 2016 in Birmingham.

The extensive range covers products for use in engines, gearboxes, brakes, power steering and cooling systems.

“Kerax has been developing and blending premium lubricant products for private label customers for years,” said CEO Ian Appleton.

“We’ve invested heavily in our UK R&D and manufacturing facilities and are extremely proud of the performance that the HyperDrive products deliver,” added Ian.

Having opened Euro Oils in 2009 to supply distributors with own brand labels, in 2012 Euro Oils introduced a small pack strategy and became heavily involved in exports to the Middle East.  By 2013 the workforce had doubled with Euro Oils producing over 100 brands for sale through a variety of distribution channels. The Euro Oils business was merged with Kerax last year.

In September Kerax is to launch Oil Finder, a new online service to assist consumers and mechanics.

Founded by Tom Wilcox in 1962 Kerax has been producing wax blends and lubricants for over 60 years. In wax alone turnover has increased from £4.5 million in 2004 to £21m, with an additional £8.5m from lubricants manufactured at the Redditch manufacturing facility.
