Justin Law with a Jaguar XJ220 – Morris Lubricants rises to another sporting challenge by producing a specific lubricant for Don Law Racing

In recognition of its long standing support for the Shropshire and Mid Wales sporting scene, last week Shrewsbury-based Morris Lubricants took the title of Employer of the Year in the annual Energize Awards.

The company sponsors Shrewsbury and Welshpool Rugby Clubs, Shrewsbury Town Football Club, rally star, Tom Cave, Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship class champion, Lea Wood and British Truck Racing star, Dave Jenkins.
A big fundraiser, Morris Lubricants raised £20,000 last year with its county tops challenge. The company is now raising money for the Severn Hospice in Shrewsbury by completing the 214-mile Severn Way long-distance footpath in 7 different ways.
Also in the sporting arena, Morris is also helping to keep a Jaguar XJ220 supercar on the road. Discovering that he could no longer get the specific lubricant required to keep his car running, Don Law of Staffordshire-based Don Law Racing turned to Morris Lubricants.
“With our technical know how, we have the capabilities to blend and formulate lubricants for a huge range of applications,” explained Morris Lubricants managing director, Andrew Goddard. “In fact, the oil we’ve produced for Don exceeds the original supplier’s specification.” The new oil is available exclusively from donlaw@donlawracing.com
